State Pest Control, Inc., began in 1970 as Marshburn Exterminating by Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Marshburn. The business grew steadily, and in 1985, the company was renamed State Pest Control. Upon J.L.’s retirement in 1993, Mr. Eddie Evans, an employee of the company, became owner. Today, more than 35 years later, we are still locally owned and operated.

From homeowners and commercial business owners to large industrial businesses, State Pest Control is a full service pest control company, proudly serving Sampson County and southeastern North Carolina.
